Brussels, May 16, 2014 – Yesterday, the BeCommerce Awards ceremony took place for the ninth time, and was attended by 350 professionals from the industry. The Belgian associationof online merchants presents these awards to the best online shops of Belgium. In the end, Vente-Exclusive.com was presented with the prestigious BeCommerce Overall Award. As BeCommerce is a national association of Ecommerce Europe, Vente-Exclusive.com will represent Belgium during the European E-Commerce Awards, which are presented during a ceremony in Barcelona on 17 June.
The BeCommerce Awards were presented during a gala evening in the Koloniënpaleis in Tervuren, Belgium. In total, 17 awards were presented. Five winners were selected by a professional jury, chaired by Internet entrepreneur Durk Jan de Bruin and the remaining 12 winners were elected by consumers. The Becommerce Overall Award, the award for the best online shop in all categories, went to Vente-Exclusive.com because of its public awareness as well as its remarkable results last year.
