FEVAD (Fédération de l’e-commerce et de la vente à distance), Ecommerce Europe’s French national association, recently published its annual report on the overview of the French e-commerce sector.

The key figures summarise the main indicators of digital commerce in France, drawing on results of studies carried out by FEVAD as well as of surveys performed by partner institutes.

The report explores the evolution of the market and consumer habits in France, while giving interesting insights into new consumer trends after two years of pandemic. If the number of French e-shoppers is ever growing, their expectations are changing, notably shifting towards an increasing demand for more “made in France”.

Furthermore, the 2022 edition of the report includes insightful information on the interplay between brick-and-mortar sales and online sales as well as figures on the environmental impact of e-commerce, among others.

About the report

The report has been published by the French association FEVAD on 4 July 2022.
