On 22-23 October 2019, the Portuguese member of Ecommerce Europe, ACEPI, is organizing the Portugal Digital Summit ’19 in Lisbon (Portugal). ACEPI invites all interested parties to attend the Summit, during which there will be a session “e-Logistics: fueling e-commerce growth in Europe”. The panelists will include: João Cadete de Matos (Chairman of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services ), Alexandre Nilo Fonseca (Chairman of Ecommerce Europe e-Logistics Working Group), Walter Trezek (Chairman of the UPU Consultative Committee) and Jaco Voorspuij (Senior Manager Transport and Logistics, GS1 Global Office).
On the same occasion, ACEPI is hosting the next meeting of the e-Logistics Working Group of Ecommerce Europe. Both events, the working group and the session, will take place on Wednesday 23 October. The meeting of the Ecommerce Europe e-Logistics Working Group will be chaired by Mr. Alexandre Fonseca. The Working Group will mainly cover two topics:
- A detailed update following the Universal Postal Union (UPU) Extraordinary Congress of 24-25 September 2019 focusing on termination fees;
- Update on the standardization work on Electronic Advanced Data (EAD).
