Last chance: Tell policy makers what you need for better parcel delivery

Following the request from the policy makers 18 months ago, delivery operators are by now expected by the European Commission to have made significant improvements in the European parcel delivery market. If the progress made by the operators does not prove to be sufficient, the Commission will take alternative policy measures. To determine what needs to happen, your voice is needed!

FOR YOUR ACTION: Short questionnaire on cross-border parcel delivery (deadline 29 July)

The European Commission has launched a questionnaire on parcel delivery which they will use to determine what (regulatory) measures they need to take to come to a fairer and more efficient cross-border parcel delivery market in Europe. We are preparing a response on behalf of Ecommerce Europe, but the European Commission is very much looking for answers from individual retailers as well. The more responses they receive from the online merchants’ side, the more justified they will be in aiding the e-commerce sector for more transparent parcel delivery.

We therefore urge you to fill in the public consultation and to share it widely within your network. The deadline for filling it in is the 29th of July. The questions should not take more than 10 minutes to fill in and the answers should be top of mind for you and easy to answer. You can access the questionnaire here:
