In October, Ecommerce Europe and E-Commercefacts will kick off the cold season with another series of Round Tables on cross- borer e-commerce in London, Madrid, Milan, Amsterdam, Poznan and Dublin.
The London edition on October 10th will feature two extraordinary experts, namely Head of Multichannel Traiding at Marks & Spencer, Michel Koch, and Javelin CEO and Founder Tony Stockil. Moreover, there will be an opportunity to learn more about Ecommerce Europe’s global e-commerce research reports.
“Traditional retailers are coming back in the race, and designing new cross-channel concepts together with developing their online sales outside of their borders. Some have a “test and learn” approach, launching a pure play activity before to install a progressive store presence. Others, like Marks & Spencer, combine both strategies and innovate with “clicks and bricks” stores (the first one was launched in Central Amsterdam mid April). It is likely we will see more of this, where digital meets retail, in smaller surface stores conveying a new multichannel experience to customers, with large interactive screens together with strong human interactions. “Retailtainment” is part of it, a big differentiator too in terms of brand content and customer experience,” Michel Koch stated in a recent interview. In his presentation, he will share more views on multichannel and cross- border retailing.
Company members and business partners of Ecommerce Europe will be invited to the Round Tables and will have free access.
The evening will take place on October 10th 2013 at Dartmouth House in London and start at 6:30pm. The programme will be as follows:
