Central and Eastern Europe region (CEE) has emerged as a vibrant hub for ecommerce, with significant growth and exciting opportunities. The region’s ecommerce market has witnessed a remarkable surge in recent years, with annual turnovers surpassing expectations. In 2021, the CEE ecommerce market recorded a turnover of over EUR 100 billion, showcasing a remarkable year-on-year growth of 25%. This impressive growth trend is expected to continue, with projections indicating a further 20% increase in 2022.

Mediapost Hit Mail, a subsidiary of La Poste in Bulgaria, conducts an international online survey for second year in a row. It targets ecommerce merchants in Central and Eastern Europe. Its aim is to analyze the challenges and benefits of cross-border ecommerce for merchants in the region. This survey stands out due to its extensive and unprecedented reach and scale.
