Stéphane Tomczak, Head of eLogistics at Fevad & Ecommerce Europe, will join a panel of delivery and logistics experts to talk about ‘Fulfilling Customer Expectations In The Final Mile’ at the eDelivery Show. The eDelivery Show will take place later this month alongside the Internet Retailing Expo on the 25th and 26th March 2015 at the NEC in Birmingham, UK.
Sitting alongside Stéphane will be Damian May, Senior Manager of Customer Delivery Technical Training at John Lewis and Edward Osborne, Head of Dropship Operations at Tesco.com.
The panel will look at how the final mile can be the most expensive, compacted and unpredictable part of any supply chain management strategy. Getting to the root of customer expectations is half the battle to winning on cost and customer experience. Stéphane and the panel will discuss how customers are reacting to ship from store, locker collection, click-and-collect and reduced delivery times.
They will ask, what do customers value more – lower delivery costs, speedier service or more delivery options? Do good partners create loyal customers? How can home delivery providers make or break the reputation of retailers? What is the relationship between customer satisfaction and ROI?
Internet Retailing Expo
This panel session is part of the eDelivery Expo, which is co-located with the Internet Retailing Expo, where retailers from across the globe will learn about the latest innovations and best practice in multichannel retail and logistics from the leading names in the sector.
Over 7,000 visitors will hear from John Lewis, ao.com, made.com, Monsoon Accessorize, Selfridges, Twitter and more who will reveal how to build the omnichannel store of the future, discuss how to overcome cross-border barriers, discover the best integration of mobile in multichannel and explore how delivery will help their business soar to the next level.
With a Digital Payments Village, an Innovation Pavilion, a Digital High Street, over 250 exhibitors and hands on workshop sessions, the event offers visitors two days of education, networking and relationship building, all under one roof.
Speaking about the show, Mark Pigou, Founder of Internet Retailing Magazine & Events UK, said: “Bigger and better than ever before, we’re looking forward to record numbers of delegates all wanting to learn how best to sell online.”
