The Chamber of Digital Economy has announced the opening of the diamond hunt season. Reflecting all the richness of the e-commerce business, without which it is difficult to imagine buying products and services on the Internet, the announcement means that we are about to find out about the nominees for the 5th edition of Performance Marketing Diamonds, which saw a record number of entries.
A mine of perfo-marketing diamonds
The name of the competition reflects the usefulness of performance marketing in e-business operations. The idea behind performance marketing is that advertisers pay media publishers or marketing agencies only for the results of a campaign as opposed to advertising space. It happens after a specific action has been completed – be it a click on an advert or, ideally, a finalised sale. In a nutshell, the price-setting factor is what the client receives based on the conversion rate.
Creativity plus technology
Performance marketing is epidermal in nature. It should draw customers into contact with the brand where and when they need it. It combines the capabilities of technology with human creativity and the ability of teams to maintain the customer-brand relationship. All of this aims to create new ways to increase sales and improve UX, run effective campaigns, and maintain high-quality service.
Recognising the best
It is such campaigns and the teams and brands behind them that are recognised in the Performance Marketing Diamonds EU 2023, 5th edition. This year, the competition categories become extended to cover the entire European Union market. In this way, the competition becomes Poland’s only one such initiative to showcase and recognise performance campaigns implemented across the EU. “We want to reward professionals working in all areas and manifestations of the performance marketing domain. Our ambition is also to show how effectively national teams run campaigns that involve the entire 450 million-strong European population,” says Patrycja Sass-Staniszewska, President of The Chamber of Digital Economy. The e-Chamber is the organiser of the competition while its main partners are Allegro and Kinguin Poland. “You can learn a lot from such people and teams,” adds President Sass-Staniszewska.
The full picture
Using channels such as search engines (SEM), social media, as well as e-mail and affiliate marketing to reach target audiences based on real-time data and analytics is at the heart of performance marketing. These areas are reflected in the competition themes:
- Performance & Affiliate Marketing;
- Creative Performance;
- Content Performance;
- Strategy Performance,
and the main categories – B2B and B2C Campaign of the Year.
An international jury comprising industry experts is now working on a reliable evaluation of the entries. To fully recognise the performance marketing community, the jury will also award the Grand Prix. The correct course of the competition is being ensured by Sowiński & Partners Law Firm as an auditor.
The grand final is drawing closer and closer
Keeping a close eye on what is going on with the Performance Marketing Diamonds competition is more than just an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in this field. It is essential for any e-commerce business that has the ambition to succeed in the digital marketplace. Moreover, it is an excellent chance to learn about the direction of the whole domestic and European e-commerce, which is rapidly developing. The value of B2B and B2C digital sales in Poland in 2022 amounted to 850 billion PLN, and nine out of 10 Polish internet users shop online, (data provided by PWC and the e-Chamber).
Now the time to wait has come for the nominated companies. However, all those participating are already taking advantage of the effects of perfo-marketing. It is so because this method can certainly be used to optimise advertising expenditure, increase business profitability, and augment big data. The joy of the applause that the winners of the e-Chamber’s Performance Marketing Diamonds competition always receive will come later.

We have another big dose of excitement for you in connection with the 5th edition of the Performance Marketing Diamonds EU 2023 competition! This year, it attracted a record number of entries, which means that the awareness of the importance of performance marketing and its use continues to grow.
It is an encouraging piece of news, especially as this year’s edition covers the entire European Union market. Thus, Performance Marketing Diamonds EU 2023 is still the only Polish competition which recognises campaigns implemented in Poland but also in other European Union countries and gives them exposure to a wide audience. The submissions were carefully scrutinised by an international jury, which selected the best. But that’s not everything. To warm up the atmosphere even more, today we present the list of nominees for the Performance Marketing Diamonds EU 2023 award!
