The winners of the European E-commerce Awards, hosted by Ecommerce Europe and the Global E-commerce Summit, have been announced. Micksgarage, Suitsupply and Asos have been honored with the golden awards in the Entrepreneurial, Omnichannel and Pure Player categories. The Award ceremony took place during the Global E-commerce Summit on June 9, in the presence of 800 international e-commerce professionals and entrepreneurs.
Winners of the Entrepreneurial Award
The Entrepreneurial Award is to recognize the e-commerce actors who have the most innovative, groundbreaking, smart, game-changing operations in Europe. As such, size and maturity are immaterial. This year, the Gold winner is Micksgarage from Ireland. Micksgarage convinced the jury with its entrepreneurial and innovative approach to e-commerce. The Silver award went to SkatePro from Denmark and Bronze was secured by Green Man Gaming from the UK.
Winners of the Omnichannel Award
The Omnichannel Award was awarded to SuitSupply, with Marks & Spencer ranking second and Ikea ranking third. According to the jury, SuitSupply is the winner of the Golden Omnichannel Award because it has shown relentless initiative to rethink and reinvent the structure of its business by developing from having an in-store format to a high-end omni-channel retailer.
Winners of the Pure Player Award
Asos was awarded with the golden Pure Player Award, followed by Farfetch winning silver, and Yoox who won bronze. According to the jury Asos did the best job for the innovational progress and visibility, as well as the ability to efficiently combine online sales and customer care.
