UPS Empowering Women Entrepreneurs 2021 Summit


Ecommerce Europe’s Business Partner UPS is organising an online event dedicated to women entrepreneurs looking to export. This is not the first time that UPS engages in capacity-building activities to empower female entrepreneurs and enhance their business outreach and capabilities, as showed by several workshops and webinars held over the course of the last years. UPS is firmly committed to improving market access and setting regulatory frameworks that enable women-owned businesses to take their products across borders, export around the globe and increase their market share.

On 26 May at 16:00 CEST, UPS will hold a new event called “Crossing Borders. Connecting Entrepreneurs. Promoting Economic Empowerment”. Jointly organised with Rise and Lead Women, this summit aims to open room for dialogue among business owners and showcase best practices and practical experiences. Several successful women entrepreneurs from Europe and Africa will participate as panellists and share their insights into the business opportunities provided by worldwide shipping activities, increased customer experience and digital marketing. First-hand tips from experts in social media, e-commerce and international trade will be shared with the attendees to provide them with hints on how to grow a cross-border business online.

A dynamic debate will also reflect on the ways to leverage the opportunity brought by e-commerce and succeed in the international landscape, thanks to the involvement of several prominent speakers from the European and African female entrepreneurial community.
