The Regulation (EU) 2018/302 of 28 February 2018, better known as the Geo-blocking Regulation, enters into force on 3 December 2018 across the European Union. The Regulation will bring certain changes to the cross-border e-commerce trade. In particular, it will provide greater accessibility to websites and the ability to purchase goods and services to consumers in other EU countries where online shops do not conduct their business.
